Training Terms & Conditions

Agreement Overview

By engaging with Fastnet Group Limited's services, you (the Customer) accept these terms and conditions in their entirety. These terms govern all training & assessment services provided by Fastnet Group Limited and supersede any other terms, whether written or implied. Any variations to these terms must be confirmed in writing by authorised representatives of both parties.

Course Booking and Payment

Course fees are payable in advance unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or through our secure online payment system. For customers with established framework agreements, pricing will be as specified in your individual agreement and detailed on your quotation. Special offers and promotional rates apply only to new bookings made within the promotional period and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Financial Terms

Our standard payment terms require settlement within 30 days of course booking. Late payments will incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily. All prices exclude VAT, which will be charged at the current rate where applicable.

Booking Process

Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of all the following:

• Agreed terms and conditions

• Full payment or valid purchase order

• Completed booking form

You will receive joining instructions and confirmation documents prior to course commencement.

Amendments and Cancellations

All booking changes must be submitted via email to training@fastnet.group . Our cancellation terms are:

• Same day/No-show: 100% of course fee payable

• 1-5 full working days' notice: 100% of course fee payable

• 6-10 full working days' notice: 50% of course fee payable

• 11+ full working days' notice: No charge

For clarity, working days are counted as follows:

• If you cancel on a Monday for a course starting the following Tuesday, this counts as 5 working days' notice (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the following Monday).

• The course start date is not included in the notice period calculation.

• Cancellation notice must be received during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm).

• Weekend days and public holidays are not counted in the notice period

Fastnet Group Limited reserves the right to reschedule or cancel courses when necessary. While we will make every effort to provide advance notice, we cannot accept liability for any consequential losses resulting from such changes.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, including handouts, presentations, and documentation, remain the intellectual property of Fastnet Group Limited. These materials are provided for personal reference only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for training purposes without our explicit written permission.

Data Protection

We maintain strict data protection protocols to safeguard your personal information. Your details will only be used to deliver our services and, with your permission, to send you information about relevant courses and offerings. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting training@fastnet.group .

Certification

Course certificates and qualifications will be withheld until full payment has been received and cleared.

Course Prerequisites

Customers are responsible for ensuring delegates meet all course prerequisites. We reserve the right to verify prerequisite qualifications or experience. Delegates who do not meet the required standards may be excluded from the course without refund.

Equipment and PPE

Where required, delegates must provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and any specified tools or equipment as detailed in the course joining instructions. Equipment must be in good working order and correctly calibrated where applicable. Failure to provide suitable equipment may result in exclusion from the course without refund.

On-Site Training Requirements

For training delivered at customer premises, you must:

• Provide suitable access and facilities

• Ensure the venue meets all health and safety requirements

• Maintain and protect any Fastnet Group Limited equipment

• Obtain all necessary permissions and licenses

• Prepare the training area as specified

Equality and Inclusive Learning

Fastnet Group Limited is committed to providing inclusive learning opportunities for all delegates. Our booking form includes a section where you can declare any additional learning needs or requirements. To ensure we can provide appropriate support and adjustments, please notify us of any specific requirements at the time of booking. All information provided will be treated confidentially and used solely to enhance your learning experience.

Liability and Complaints Procedure

Our liability is limited to £5,000,000 for any single incident, excluding personal injury or death caused by our negligence. We are not liable for indirect losses, including but not limited to lost profits or business opportunities. Complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of course completion using our official complaints form, which can be found on our website at www.fastnet.group . All complaints will be handled in accordance with our complaints procedure, and we aim to provide an initial response within 24 hours of receiving a completed complaints form.

Health, Safety and Conduct

All delegates must complete a safety induction and comply with site safety rules. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas during scheduled breaks. We reserve the right to remove delegates who fail to follow safety procedures or whose behaviour disrupts the learning environment. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Course Delivery

Course times will be specified in your joining instructions. Late arrivals may be refused entry if their participation would disrupt the learning experience of others. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

Legal Framework

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

By booking a course with Fastnet Group, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions and acknowledge their application to all training and assessment services provided by Fastnet Group Limited.
